Lodging at Orpheus Island Lodge is limited to just 28 guests, offering a private island experience on the Great Barrier Reef. Each of the 14 beachfront rooms includes a private patio overlooking the Coral Sea and features Li'tya guest amenities. The entire 1,368-hectare National Park surrounding Orpheus Island is available for exploration, with white sand beaches steps from the rooms.

Dining & Cuisine

Gourmet meals are included in the all-inclusive rate at Orpheus Island Lodge, with menus that change daily and use locally sourced produce and fresh seafood. The head chef prepares three meals each day, and guests can book the 'Dining with the Tides' experience for a six-course degustation on the jetty. The resort's bar offers a 24/7 open bar with premium beverages, including free-flowing Champagne.

Activities & Reef Access

Daily Orpheus experiences include guided snorkeling tours, fishing trips, and island cruises to explore the surrounding reef. Guests at Orpheus Island Resort have private use of motorised dinghies for self-guided adventures to the giant clam garden and nearby islands. Water sports equipment such as kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkeling gear are provided at no extra cost.

Wellness & Spa

The on-site Gwandalan Day Spa at Orpheus Lodge offers indigenous-inspired treatments including massages, body scrubs, and facial treatments using local ingredients. Yoga classes are available daily, and the infinity pool overlooks the Coral Sea for relaxation. The spa includes a lounge area and facilities for couples treatments.

All-Inclusive Inclusions & Transport

All-inclusive packages at Orpheus Island Queensland cover gourmet meals, premium beverages, and daily activities, with no additional charges for motorised dinghy use or guided tours. Arrival is via a 30-minute helicopter transfer from Townsville Airport, included in the package for direct island access. The lodge also provides daily housekeeping, laundry service, and a full snack bar in the room.
